Ramen Lab — Terms of Service & End User License Agreement

These Terms of Service and End User License Agreement ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Bautista Hospitality Group ("we," "us," "our") governing your use of the Ramen Lab iOS app and its content ("the app"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. License to use the app

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, including the Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple Standard EULA") available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.

The app and its content are licensed, not sold. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

The app offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, Ramen Lab Pro, which unlocks additional features. Current offerings:

Content you create in the app — including your recipes, formulas, notebook entries, and grocery lists — remains yours. We do not claim ownership of it. In the current version, this content is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to us.

You are responsible for the content you create and import, and for ensuring you have the right to use any recipe or material you import from third-party sources.

6. Our content and intellectual property

The app itself, and the recipes, formulas, editorial writing, lessons, glossary, images, design, fonts as bundled, "Ramen Lab" name, logos, and other materials we provide ("Our Content"), are owned by Bautista Hospitality Group or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited license to view and use Our Content within the app for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from Our Content except as expressly permitted.

7. Cooking, food safety, and health disclaimer

Ramen Lab provides recipes, formulas, and culinary information for general informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for safe food handling, preparation, cooking temperatures, storage, and for accounting for any allergies, dietary restrictions, or health conditions. Nutritional or ingredient information may be incomplete or inaccurate. The app is not a substitute for professional food-safety, medical, or dietary advice. Cook and consume at your own risk.

8. Disclaimers; no warranty

The app and Our Content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Bautista Hospitality Group be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the app, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

10. Termination

These Terms apply until terminated. Your license ends automatically if you fail to comply with these Terms. You may end the agreement at any time by deleting the app. Sections that by their nature should survive (including content ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) survive termination.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or on our website. Your continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Republic of the Philippines, except where prohibited by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.

13. Apple-specific terms

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Bautista Hospitality Group, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. To the extent these Terms conflict with the Apple Standard EULA with respect to your use of the app obtained through the App Store, the Apple Standard EULA governs solely as to that conflict.
